Since 1979, NAPCO has been a leader in products and training for tub, tile, shower and countertop refinishers. Steve Coven was refinishing himself in 1992 when he had the opportunity to purchase NAPCO. He bought it and committed to making NAPCO the kind of company he would want to do business with as a refinisher.

Service has always been at the heart of what they do at NAPCO. Calls in to NAPCO are answered by a live person who has knowledge about refinishing; these aren’t just order takers. Orders received by 2 PM central time are shipped out the same day. NAPCO offers superior technical support. Customers call us from the job site when they encounter problems they can’t solve. Frequently we get them back on track to finish the job and get on to the next appointment.

NAPCO went live with an industry-first e-commerce web site in 2002. The latest version of their site makes it even easier to order and access useful tools that help refinishers save time and money.

NAPCO has lead with innovative products that help their customers succeed. Products such as the first 24 hour and 4 hour coatings, a low VOC coating, a waterborne coating and a methylene chloride free stripper. They pioneered eco-friendly solutions whenever possible.

Training has been a cornerstone of their business; helping men and women from all over the country get started in refinishing. With a state-of-the-art spray booth and industry-leading trainers, graduates of their program have gone on to earn a good living and enjoy being their own boss. NAPCO has trained over 1,000 people with a combination of classroom and hands-on spray training.

NAPCO gives back to the community in many ways. They have spearheaded food drives, donated time at a local food pantry and helped send care packages to US troops overseas.
