Easy Money Maker! Extremely satisfied on how only one gallon of NAPCO Flint-Stone was used on multiple jobs making approx. $3800 profit, and still have a quart left!
I was fixing to do my first counter top using the Flintstone and the Polyglass 320 Clear that I had brought back from the Napco Refinishing Class I had attended earlier. I had seen the email for the water based Kitchen Renew clear counter topcoat launch and decided to give it a shot as I try to go water based anytime I can as long as it is a good product. Having dealt with other clear urethane coatings I was glad this was an option. I had already refinished all the tile surround, tub, and wainscoting in the two room bath with Polyglass 320, of a homeowner that had recently found out she was expecting and she was concerned about the fumes. The product sprayed as I expected and laid down nicely. The smell was almost nonexistent and what little there was dissipated quickly. I dried to a nice firm finish and had gotten pretty hard by the next day when I went to check on it. As it fully cures I would expect it to be a very durable hard yet flexible finish. Went from a faded and stained yellow acrylic top to the Flintstone in Cappuccino with the Kitchen Renew Satin Clear Topcoat. Everyone was surprised it was the same top.
I will definitely be using it again as well as the rest of the Napco water based lines as they become available.
My name is Michael Marciano and I've been refinishing bathtubs & tile for 8-years. Over that time I've experimented with multiple different coating providers such as Hawk Coatings, Shark Grip, Top Coat, Rustoleum, European Coatings, and NAPCO. Some coatings being more cost effective then others, some more convenient to purchase / acquire, but at the end of the day the 4-hour cure, customer service, work ability of their coating has concreted NAPCO as my only chemical provider moving forward.
The trade in program offered by NAPCO is a great resource for any refinisher on the fence about switching to NAPCO full time, they took all of my remaining competitor coatings and gave me more then a $1,000 in product to replace the aging coatings on my shelf and remove the thought of using a competitors product.
Thank you once again Larry for you great customer service and letting an existing customer utilize this program.
As a 4th Generation Craftsman who specializes in high performance coatings I have used countless cabinet coatings. I must say the latest product developed by Napco is a cut above the rest. With the Kitchen renew, we were able to spray the cabinets in place and in a fraction of the time. We were able to spray wet on wet. As you know, time is money in the refinishing business. There was very little odor even while spraying. To be honest I still had my doubts about the durability even though it dried to a factory finish. After 4 days I went back and did a series of tests on the refinished cabinets and it was as durable of coating as you would ever need. This product is the future of cabinet refinishing.
Well done Napco!
We have been using Napco products for about 1.5 years now. Napco products have always exceeded our expectations. We primarily use their 320 Product lines. After we depleted our stock of their Poly Tub & Tile Prep we ordered their new tile preparation product (Piranha Prep). The Piranha Prep is a concentrated solution that cleaned the tubs very well without those harsh chemical odors.
So, on the behalf of Richardson HomeWorks LLC, we thank you for such an amazing Tub and Tile Prep.
We have been using Napco products for about 1.5 years now. After we depleted our stock of their Super Orange Stripper we ordered their new stripper (Sonic Stripper). The Sonic Stripper was impressive. It worked better than any stripper we used on bathtubs. So, on the behalf of Richardson HomeWorks LLC, we thank you for such an amazing stripper (that does not contain that deadly Methylene Chloride).
